ABOUT SUPER ORANGE SKATEBOARDING
Super Orange Skateboarding is a skateboard brand based in Oegstgeest near Leiden in the Netherlands, with Canadian roots. Simplicity, quality, old school, family and friends is what typifies Super Orange Skateboarding: Dutch design on Canadian decks.
Douglas Gordon is the driving force behind all of this. A seasoned skateboarder from White Rock BC Canada who started back in the days a skateshop overthere named "Boardkennel". During spring and summer he worked in his little shop and in the winter he traded his skateboard in for a snowboard to conquer the Canadian Rockies. When his father passed away, Doug traveled the world for a long time and finally he settled in the Netherlands to continue his dreams together with his Dutch girl.

He worked a lot of different jobs to pay the bills, he started a family and he got himself a master's degree in International Relations. The flame for skateboarding was still burning and after some ventures like filming and a bike repair business, Super Orange Skateboarding ignited. He gathered great skateboarders around him and together with them he keeps that fire going. When he and his family moved to a place with a workshop, the doors opened to the house of Super Orange Skateboarding: Wood be Hero Skateshop.
What motivates Doug? Slopes, parks, travel, speed, the unknown, challenge, passion, creativity but above all love. His love for the people around him who love skateboarding as much as he does, that's what keeps him going! Therefore connect with Super Orange Skateboarding and join the bonfire!
